In early July we noticed a charge on our Chase/SW Air VISA credit card of $2.09 from Big Fish Games. We had no idea who or what this was and attempted to contact them to no avail--their phone number and website are circular deadends. Just this week we see another charge from Big Fish for $6.99. Based on their website, we assume the phoney charges are for a game, which supposedly automatically signs us up for a membership with reoccuring fees. We have protested the charges to that credit card provider and sent varied emails and website communications to Big Fish requesting termination of any accounts and/or memberships and requesting full refund of $9.08 to that card. We do not expect to see any responsive email from them, any phone call, or any refund.
Note: We never ordered any online game from Big Fish and never supplied any credit card account number--this is pure theft and we have no idea how they got our card acct. number.

Do you have kids?

How about your kids? Do you have any? I understand that parents usually trust their kids. However, once this kind of situation occur, the parents should talk to their kids. This does not mean the parents have to yell or squeeze the truth out of their kids, but rather talk to them and get them to understand that the behavoir is unacceptable. Punishment is not necessary but more important is that the kids understand and will remember what and why the action is wrong. Just a thought.
PS: If not your kids, have you been to any of your friends/relatives house in the past 2 months that may have kids around? That could be another possibility.
