BLUEGREEN VACATIONS AKA OUTDOOR TRAVELER TIME SHARES thru BASS PRO PROMOTION DEMANDED CREDIT CARD NUMBER BEFORE PROCEEDING FOR A $1.00 TRANSFER FEE Orlando Florida Nationwide

We received this time share promotion as a gift. I was told the dates I requested were unavailable unless I wanted to be put in a hotel "of their discretion". Would not tell me the name of the hotel. The promotion was for a time share resort and presentation, not a hotel. I tried 3 different resorts and they were unable to fill any requests in the advertised resorts. After finally agreeing to settle for a hotel, they stated I would have a "transfer fee of $1.00" They stated I would have to give them a major credit card number to proceed with the dollar charge before I could proceed with the registration. I questioned the person if they would give their credit card to a stranger for a doller fee. He replied "No" and stated he would transfer me to "customer service". After being transferred to 2 more people in "customer service" and being on hold for extended periods of time, I was told that "no one" was allowed to proceed without my $1.00 fee put on my credit card. I offered to send a check for the dollar but they stated that was against policy, My son was ripped off for $199.-00 "paid in full" on his credit card for a vacation that I couldn't even book! He went into Bass Pro for a fishing lure and got sucked into this deal! Do not trust this company! Walk away quickly if approached! SHAME ON YOU BASS PRO for putting your customers in harm's way!
