BOB DANCE - ripoff, unprofessional, rude, the worst customer service and liars SANFORD Florida

I was sold a convertible car May 29, 2005 with a pre-existing roof leak, and was told by the Bob Dance staff that there was no leak. When I asked about the water in the cup holder they told me that the car had been left out in the rain with the top down, I felt that was reasonable but was still unsure.

While test driving the vehicle there was a continous stream of water filling up the cup holder again. After returning at the dealership I thought it would be best to take a break and visit other dealerships, my credit card being held in good faith was not returned until after the fourth demand for it's return.

The Car Fax report promised was never delivered. I got into my vehicle started it and ran the air attempting to leave when the sales man and his manager continued their price decrease on the vehicle I was interested in which had began at $20k and ended at $15K in a matter of two hours. I later found that in fact the convertible was leaking to the point the tire iron is rusting, thanks to the last 6 weeks of rain. When I attempted to have it repaired two weeks after purchase they took the vehicle in for ozone treatment and a paint repair and never even looked at the roof.

My two witnesses and I were promised that if the roof was leaking it would be taken care of, on which one was hung up on and I was accused of putting a hole in it and even sitting on the soft top, I asked the sales manager "why would I do that"? he said he did not know. They have continously denied the responsibility of selling a used vehicle which the basics are not in proper condition.

My former husband who deals with dealerships on a regular basis tried to reason with them in person and was told I practically stole the vehicle off the lot and there was no room to make such repairs if in fact I did not damage the vehicle. So I get to start making payments this coming month on a vehicle that in Sunny Florida will grow mold. Welcome to the world of Bob Dance where everyone gets screwed and you don't enjoy it.
