We had the same problem reported by another complaint on this site.  Bricktrainshop's website suggests that you are ordering a set of legos, noting only in small print and below the "add to basket" tab that they are only selling instructions.  If they are only selling instructions, they should put a picture of the instructions on the site, instead of a picture of the box; or they should clearly label the offer at the very top "Instructions Only."  I would prefer to believe that this is merely a badly designed website, and not intentionally deceptive, but the tone-deaf rebuttal to the first complaint makes me think otherwise.

Not Reading the Listing Correctly

The customers who have this problem often do not read the listing at all, merely relying on the brief title that google edits, not us.  We do receive these kinds of complaints and out of the thousands of manuals and parts we sell it averages out to about 1% of our client base that are misunderstanding the web-site.

Did you ask for a refund?
Did you send your order back?
Did you mention that the set you were looking at retails everywhere else on the web for 80%-90% more than what you paid?
I am not trying to be mean, I do believe in being fair and I dont feel that that you are.  You want to complain about something having never tried to resolve the matter with us first.  How fair is that?
So here is the truth, you were looking for a this Lego Set and when you saw the listing come up on the search you thought "Wow what a bargain, to good to be true, Im getting it."  You bought it without ever really looking at the web-site because if you had you would have realized that all of our Instructions are listed in the LEGO INSTRUCTIONS CATEGORY of our STORE listed ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE in big CAPITAL LETTERS.
The bottom line is your greed caused the problem.  If I the owner of this website wanted to rip people off I would offer no refund, and I wouldnt have been doing this for the past 10 years.
I can not help those who do not communicate with us, and this is hardly the forum for it.  So when you attack our Store, our Staff and me I am left with no choice but to fight back.
