Broward Factory Service incompetence to repair the A/C unit in over 30 days in June failure to replace defective AC Unit Orlando Florida

In early June of 2004, I called Broward Factory Service to check on a lack of cooling in my A/C unit, and a leakage of water into an adjoining bedroom, from the unit. They sent a man out, Ralph, who did some checking, and said I was low on freon. He filled the system with freeon. Within 24 hours, the system was not cooling and was leaking into one of my bedrooms. Broward sent Ralph out again the next week. He did further tests, and found that the system was not holding the freon charge. He then proceeded to solder and reseal the pipes that hold the freon, he was here this time for almost 4 hours.

Again, 2 days later it was leaking water into a bedroom and not cooling. The manager then came out, this is now the end of June, and stated the repairs were not done correctly and said he would take care of it. In all, they were here every week during the month of June, and in the end, the A/C unit was never fixed or replaced as their advertising states on service contracts. At this point, I just gave up and Contracted with another company who has provided SUPERIOR service and installation of a new unit. In my estimation, Broward Factory Service is so disorganized, hiring persons that have only basic knowledge of cooling/heating systems it is a wonder that they can ever repair any system.

I strongly suggest, any person looking for an AC system, stay AWAY from Broward Factory Service, even though there was no monetary ripoff, Broward should have replaced the defective system or refunded my monies paid for the service contract for that year !!!!!!!
