I am yet another victim of BUSLINK'S deceptive rebate practices. I followed all of their directions and sent all the information they reqested in a timely manner and what did that get me. NOT A d**n THING! So what happens when i call and try to inquire about my reabate, I get "please leave a message and we will return your call".....NOT!

So I send copies of everything again. Still nothing. No response. I call many, many times and leave messages for rebate representatives and even supervisors.

I never received a response by phone or mail. I ended up re-sending my rebate a 3rd time and called after another 8 week wait and finally a real human being answered other than the operator. She told me they received my rebate, though it was postmarked too late. "Too late so sorry, your claim is denied", she said. Well I told her, the first one or two I sent you must have been lost by you or the mail. Her response, "we are not responsible for the mail".

So this is why the rebate is a form of deception. It requires you to send the information within 30 days of purchase and then requires you to wait 8 weeks for processing. If the mail did lose it or Buslink misplaced it then your out of luck because any further attempt to send the information to them will be postmarked after the required date and subsequently denied. So if Buslink wants to save themselves some money all they have to do is pretend they didn't receive it and not respond to any inquries.

So what to do from here. Well my next move is to contact the office of the California State Attorney and report this behavior. I hope others can learn from my experience and think twice beofore purchasing products from BUSLINK.
