Many truck driving companies across California have a trend to not abide by labor laws and pay the hourly rate of pay and overtime pay of time and a half after 8 hours and double time after 12 hours. A lot of these companies feel paying straight time is ok. No it is not! But C R England has gone far beyond any of this. They pay by the mile and throw in $15 per stop for a local Wal Mart account.
This causes all drivers to perform daily tasks of pre/post trips, waiting to load/unload at a customer (unable to leave and having no choice to wait) fueling the truck and any small maintenance for free. A driver working a 13 hour day can work 7 of those hours for free (literally) because they are not compensated by the hour. The pay ends up being less than minimum wage and sometimes is as low as $3 per hour.
The saddest part about this is that our court systems only makes these companies pay back small percentages of the money back to the drivers such as 1%-5%. If this continues then why would any company pay its employees according to the labor laws? They would have to be crazy to, wouldn't they?
So I am writing this rip off report to inform the public that C R England, a multi billion dollar company is the largest scam artist company in the industry. It is in my opinion that company owners and managers that take advantage and steal from their drivers (who are the work force that earned the money that pays everones check) should be convicted of embezzlement. They are definatley committing a crime against their employees.

I thought I was the only one that spoke about corruption.
But if you think you can take down CR England I wish you all the luck in the world, because they need to be taken down. I don't know if you know about these people but England is on the board at ATA, and because ATA deals with Washington all the time trying to get things done in their favor I'm sure they have plenty of friends there. So good luck and I wish you the best.

I have actually been to the courts here in California before and believe it or not here in California if a driver is under state juristiction then they are covered by labor laws. It is only when they are ran as a federal trucking juristiction that they have no rights. Here in California even trucking companies have to pay hourly wages then compensate a driver with time and a half after 8 hours and double time after 12. There is one exception that allows them to pay overtime after 40 hours but I won't list that because then other companies that are paying right could turn crap. We have all no doubt seen that.
My problem is that courts in California are not obiding by laws. Not just labor laws but pretty much every law. They discriminate constantly and it is my opinion that courts run things by attitudes rather than written law. I was writing this report hoping that someone with legal knowledge knew what to do about it and to inform the public that this particular company was committing crimes against their work force.
Some attorneys make side deals for cash and have little regard for their clients, a good attorney is very hard to find. I wish this weren't true but unfortunately I found out that it definately is.

But the labor laws that everyone else enjoys, don't cover truck drivers, and that is how they keep the slave labor. The company you mentioned is one of the worst. But you need not believe, just check at your local labor board, there is no such thing as over time in trucking, with a few exceptions.
