EVERY MONTH CABLEVISION GETS PAID IN FULL. TO THE BEST IF MY KNOWLEDGE I TOUGHT THEY WERE PAID FOR JULY AND AUGUST.
YESTERDAY WHEN I WENT TO GO CHECK MY BALANCE I DISCOVERED THERE WAS A $10 LATE FEE ASSESSED. WHEN I CALELD TO REQUEST REMOVAL OF THE LATE FEES THEY REFUSED TO REMOVE THEM EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 30 YEARS WITH THEM
PLEASE FURTHER NOTE THE ANTI-TRUST LAWS PROHIBITED THE PHONE COMPANIES FROM CHARGING FOR THEIR EQUIPMENT MEANING A CUSTOMER SHOULD BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY THE EQUIPMENT.
CABLEVISION ALSO REFUSES TO REMOVE THE BOX FEES FROM MY BILL AS WELL AS TO REIMBURSE ME FOR BOX FEES IN YEARS PAST.
THE CHEAP BOX THAT COSTS $50 WHICH THE GOV'T GAVE VOUCHERS FOR A WHILE AGO WILL NOT WORK WITH CABLEVISION BECAUSE CABLEVISION INTENTIONALLY SCRAMBLES ALL THE FREE CHANNELS (2-21) BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU TO BUY THE MORE EXPENSIVE BOX AND THEN YOUR HAVE TO PAY THEM EVERY MONTH FOR THE ACCESS CARD OR BUY A $200-$300 DIGITAL TV.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY TV AND FOR MANY YEARS PRIOR TO THE DIGITAL TV CHANGEOVER I NEVER NEEDED THE BOX.
THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION INVOLVING THIS BOX FEE AND ALL THE CONSUMERS THAT WERE PART OF THE LAWSUIT GOT WAS ONE MONTH OF CABLE BIG WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR THE BOX TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Constant difficulty communicating with any representative. No trace of my recorded calls to cancel. Was informed twice on two separate occasions by two different representatives that my final bill payment was 157 and then I get charged for not canceling and for a missed payment (which actually, I was debited twice for that same month). Despite bank statements and providing the dates/times I called to cancel, nobody can do anything except request for a supervisor to call back. These supervisors use call back strategies to make the call not ring and go straight to my voicemail. It’s pure robbery and completely useless assistance and refuses to allow me to speak or email supervisors.
