Calvary Portfolio Services ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing PHOENIX Arizona

I have never heard of this company and here it pops up in my credit report bringing my credit score down which I have just tried so hard to repair.

I am an active duty military member serving in the Air Force. I have been serving for six years. Before I entered the military I was in college for two years and got myself in credit card debt for all about $1500. I had no clue about credit and it has stuck with me all this time.

I JUST got home last week of doing four months in Iraq. That is why I am so pissed at this company called Calvary Portfolio Services who reported fraudelent charges on me. This so called account they reported in May was supposedly opened in March and then they reported it in May for $245. The original account is supposed to be from AT&T wireless which I have never used. Also I was in Iraq in April ironically using that time to get my credit straight. This is the main reason I was able to see this being reported so quickly because I have a membership with all three credit bureaus that e-mail me an alert when there is a change in my credit report. The moment I saw that I did online disputes and then I googled the company and found NUMEROUS complaints on the internet and through ripoffreport.com.

I immediately read all the complaints and now I'm even more upset because it seems that this company is just getting away with a lot and it may be really hard for me to fix this. But I will not contact them at all without a lawyer or some sort of legal advice because I don't want them to have any record of me at all...which they don't anyway.

I was on my way to apply for a credit card to start building me some credit because in about two years, we want to buy our first home....but before I finished the application for the credit card, I checked my e-mail and saw the alert for this new collection item. I then canceled the application and didn't go through with it because I didn't want that to be another inquiry on my credit report and then they look at that charge and deny me.

PLEASE, if anyone knows what the deal is on this company let it out...
