Capital Management Services, LP Received a "delinquent debt" of $354.78 - sent to same name - wrong person Buffalo New York

I received a letter stating that I needed to resolve a non-existent delinquent debt of $354.78 owed to the MCI Communications Services, Inc. from 2002.

The letter gave a "settlement amount" of $106.43 due in 45 days or less, which is an 'offer' Capital Management Services is giving only once.

Settlement could be made online. I called and found that a previous address they had for 'me' was in a place I never lived. I spoke with Lisa, who erased all records of 'my' delinquent debt from their files.

It is not ethical to send delinquent debt letters to anyone when the collection agency has not made any attempt to confirm the identity of the recipient as the actual debtor.
