care.com care.com inc Cancelled me for no reason (at least they won't tell me why) MEAN!!! waltham, Massachusetts

I had a horrible experience with care.com - read BBB and Amazon reviews to see how they screwed other people over as well.

To put it briefly, they cancelled me without any notification and no reason. Actually their reason was that I violated their terms of agreement and when I went back to double check to see WHAT I did wrong, I couldn't find anything.

When I called back they said it was a 'private' matter and they would not tell me, thus I felt that I was personally attacked and could not resolve the issue. Then they changed their tune and said, "oh according to the terms of agreement, can can cancel you at any time for no reason."

The problem is they already admitted that I somehow violated their terms of agreement so now it seems like they are covering their butts by saying they can cancel me at anytime. I did not even get a chance to defend myself!

Yes they refunded me but only AFTER I called them to see why I couldn't log in anymore.

In addition their so called 'candidates' were pretty weak - either students that just graduated, didn't graduate, retired moms or laid off women that wanted to get paid an arm and a leg for something they had very limited experience with being a true Nanny after I interviewed a few before I got cancelled. These 'caregivers' think that having their own child (who is now 15) baby sitting for their family members makes them qualified. I don't think so. It's really a joke these people that SIGN UP FOR FREE and send 30+ emails that you have to wade through to find everyone 5 that are semi qualified to interview. What a waste.

The background check that they provide for free seems misleading. Its just a check to match up the name and SSN you have to pay $50 for a criminal check -- and who knows how good it is.

I would NEVER use this company ever again and will continue to think they are a horrible company. There are so many other resources out there that is willing to CARE and help out.

They get a big fat "F"  and despite their name, they DO NOT CARE!
