Knowing my position was ending, I sought a career change and potential relocation.  Telemarketer Emily Entress was adamant that she could find dream jobs for me and my husband.  Since we are both college educated and we each have more than 20 years experience, we believed we were attractive candidates who only needed help targeting the correct careers and firms.

After paying CSI $3400, we found that career testing (advertised on CSI's website as part of the package, and important to our purchase decision) was non-existent.  Their "certified" writer (Rob Swanson) could not spell, punctuate or write grammatically, and had a penchant for over-the-top prose, requiring multiple revisions.  I subsequently discovered that I am unqualified for the career objective CSI dreamed up.  Non-compelling letters highlighting inappropriate job objectives sent to random recipients garnered no results.

CSI promised to "Pinpoint ... the hiring managers " (http://www.careersi.com/IndividualServices5.aspx), and send letters that would "...motivate readers to call and find out more about [us] or to request a full resume" (http://www.careersi.com/individualServices4.aspx).  Instead, CSI data-dumped thousands of executives' names, most irrelevant to our career interests.  Document recipients (many redundant) included CEOs and Directors of multi-billion dollar firms (who certainly would not have offered us jobs), as well as firms so small my salary expectation exceeded their annual revenues!

Only AFTER these letters were mailed did the "career coach" tell us that we were expected to cold call (CSI calls it "networking") the letter recipients, try to get past their gatekeepers, build rapport with these total strangers over the phone, and hope they have a suitable job for us.  At this point, we requested refunds--after all, CSI had said their mailings would "motivate readers to call [us] and... request a full resume" --not that we would have to make hundreds of futile cold calls.

We have been seeking refunds since March 23.  I've contacted the BBB, and am in receipt of CSI's 14-page, single spaced legalistic lie-filled response offering a $500 refund of our $3400 fees (some of the letters had not been mailed and we did not use all of the prepaid, useless "coaching").

CSI is dishonest.  Don't waste your money or time on these frauds. Their product is very poor quality.  Their list is random.  You won't find a job through them.  Learn from our mistake!
