CarHop UAC Universal Acceptance Corporation 600% Interest Nationwide

 Didn't have great credit so my choices were limited when looking for a car.  Found out about Carhop from one of their commercials that it's $100 down even if you have bad credit.  Took a chance and went to one of their locations.  After them giving me a sales pitch about finding me an affordable vehicle to suit my needs, and that I can offer a lower payoff amount down the road (huge lie), and that I could even trade it in after 2 years to get a newer car for lower payments (another huge lie), I stupidly signed the contract for my vehicle.

 After them actually being decent in the beginning and fixing a few problems with the truck in the first 3 months things turned around.  The going value for my truck in the condition I purchased it in was just around $2,000.  After doing the math I will have paid a total price of $12,000 for this vehicle.  In the condition I purchased it in, the chances are that I will still be paying for it long after it is dead. 

 My mistake, I'll own up to that.  Here is where I take issue though.  As of today 12/18/15 I am EXACTLY THREE DAYS passed due on ONE payment.  They have already called my phone twice, as well as one of my places of employment to harass my coworkers and let them know I'm late on a car payment.  When I finally had a chance to call them back they told me that I had to pay immediately or they would continue to call my job and all of my references every day.  I asked "Frank" if I spoke to them and let them know what was going on would they stop calling and harassing my family.  He told me that even if he spoke with me that day he would continue to call the people on my list to let them know I haven't made my payment yet and that I owe money.  Am I the only person that sees something wrong with this?  You talk to me, I explain what's going on, and then you are STILL going to HARASS my friends, family, and coworkers on the same day?

 I don't care how desperate you are for a car, it's NOT WORTH IT.  Even if you buy a junker off of craigslist for $500 and it dies a month later, it's still a better risk than paying 6X what a vehicle is worth.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
