Caribbean Cruise Line 2 Free Nights in the Bahamas, yeah right! Internet, Florida

My husband was attempting to call Kohls Department Store Customer Service Line to pay his credit card but he accidentally dialed one number off which brought him to the recording that stated he won a free 2 night cruise to the Bahamas. Still thinking he was calling Kohls he believed it. He even asked the first customer service rep if they were part of Kohls and asked how/why he was redirected to them. The person actually said yes, they were part of Kohls and that he had probably been redirected due to high caller volume. So we listened to the pitch, got bullied and finally after almost an hour, told them to shove it. We carefully dialed Kohls and found that he had accidentally dialed one number incorrectly and they misrepresented themselves, which Im fairly certain is highly illegal. I will contact an atty.

So the rest of the experience prior to realizing our error reads exactly like all of the negative reports found here. We "won" a 2 night cruise to the Bahamas (only paying port tax of $59 per person) but wait, you can extend your stay and get rental car and hotel in Florida, blah blah for the low low price of $817.00, but it was an only one time offer and it had to be charged to a credit card right then and there. This is when the alarm bells went off. I explained that I was not prepared to spend that much on a moments notice and we have relatives in the area so we just wanted the free cruise. The rep then went on to bully and berade me until I got firm back and said no. For some reason I let him talk me into being placed on hold and someone else came on and I let my husband speak with her. She did the same thing. He finally told her to cancel it and forget it and we hung up. We werent going to be bullied into anything. We realized our dialing error and went to the internet and read the horror stories.

Id rather skip a year of vacation than deal with this mess. Stay away!
