Caribbean Cruise Line Harrassing phone calls demanding more money for a cruise or threatening to turn us into a credit company. Internet

I was called by Caribbean Cruise Line stating that I needed to complete paying for a cruise I don't remember purchasing.  I explained that I would not have and was not interested in a cruise as my husband and I have a time share we use for all of our vacation needs. 

The caller insisted I give a credit card number so I could complete the Legal Contract that had been inititated in my name.  I explained that I had lost my job and did not have the money.  The company represenative threatened to turn me over to a collection agency and ruin my credit if I did not complete the contract.

I was in tears, explaining that I was going to loose my car because I could not make the payments, and had no money to pay for a cruise.  The man on the phone badgered my for over 30 minutes about how I had no choice but to finish paying for the cruise even if I did not want it, and stated that his company could then help me resell it if I wanted.

I told him to just sell it to someone else and I did not want a refund, because I did not remember spending any money on a cruise in the first place.  He continued to insist I give him a credit card number or He would ruin my credit.  I finally gave him my card number because I was desperate and did not know what else to do.

Several months later the Caribbean Cruise Line company called my husband, ( I was out of town) and told him that the money all ready invested in the cruse would be lost because we had not taken it, but that he could save the cruise by paying more money to hold the cruise for another 18 months.  He authorized a second payment to the Caribbean Cruise Line.

I have just become aware that this company has been ripping off others on their special cruises.  I want my complaint added to the rest.  I plan to contact the company and attempt to obtain a refund.
