The guys are a huge scam! Patrick Carpenter came to my home to bid on a remodel I was doing. Upon agreeing on a price he said there would be a deposit of 500.00. I wrote the check and we agreed that he would start the job at 9am the following morning. I took the day off from work to be there with them and had arranged others to be there for him as he would be in my home. 9AM came and went, Patrick would not answer his phone, would not respond to emails, texts, or voicemails. His phone had been disconnected. I finally got a hold of one of his crew members listed on his web site. Magically, Patrick's phone began to work again (because he cashed my check and paid his bill) He said that he got called away to finish another job, but assured me he would be at my home the very next morning (before 9am). I took yet another day off from work. No suprise to me 9am came and went again. I text... he responds with a very cocky attitude. He tells me to calm down. He is on his way. Mind you, this is after 11 o'clock. Thus far he is a day and a half late and he is telling me to calm down! He finally does arrive at 1:30. He did a very Bad job on the small amout of work that he did do (appraised at 50.00 by another contractor) He left without saying anything 3 hours after arriving. When I realized he had left I saw he had stolen some of my supplies (valued at 85.00) When called on it he gave me some lame excuses why he quit. The fact is he scammed me out of 500.00 and stole my supplies. I will be prosecuting him in court. Beware!

Patrick Carpenter is A LIAR

This was not my report, however, he took our $500 deposit and never did any work.  He refuses to answer the phone.  He says he is licensed however he is not.  His "wife" came with him to make the whole thing seem legit.   He will not give our money back. I am prosecuting.

Kris Widner, Contractors Beware, He is the real rip off artist.

AUTHOR: Pat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 21, 2011

All of the accusations in his previous post are false. It is our company policy to always be on time to every job site large are small.

As for the 250 feet of 12gauge wire that he is refering to in his earlier post, the value is exactly $73.15. We have pictures proving that this item was there before and after we did the work, valued at 900.00.

It is common here in Texas that people try to rip off contractors, as there are not as strict guidelines regarding our practices here as there are in other states. In my business every so often we run into someone attempting to get something for nothing. The simple fact of the matter is when the find out they actually have to pay for the back breaking labor we provide they don't like it.

A few comments to remember, at first he said:

"They took my money and ran"

Then you saw him admit we did do quite a bit of work at his property. Lie number one.
Second he tried to accuse us of stealing from him which simply did not happen.

Keep in mind that he still owes us 540.00 for materials delievered and work done which I am letting go, due to his rediculous behavior. As a business man of integrity, we always rise above these situations to maintain our reputation.

Feel free to contact me directly if you are considering hiring us and would like to know more.

Wanted Something for Nothing

AUTHOR: Pat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Kris Widner, hired us to repair a garage conversion. I initally told him it would cost in the neighborhood of 8,000.00. Normally we require at least a 25% down payment for this size of a job. After several hours of negotiation he told me he was a paralegal and only gave me a down payment of 500.00.

We installed two new breakers which we normally charge 250.00 each to install this total is 500.00. We additionally installed two walls in his garage to start his shower enclosure which he ordered. The total amount of work that was done was valued at close to 900.00.

We additionally delievered over 140.00 worth of materials to his job site which he did not pay us for. Please feel free to contact me personally about this complaint and any others. As you can see Mr. Widner only payed us 500.00 he owes 540.00 to our company. Another classic case of trying to get something for nothing.
