Casablanca Express Promises a free two night stay for just the room taxes and takes your money Woodland Hills California

I received a "Get Up and Go" by "Windham Certificate" with a time share I purchase for Virginia Beach , VA. It took me forever to get in touch with someone, the numbers were wrong. With the help from a clerk at my time share office I was able to get a number. I called Casablanca and spoke with someone to choose my get away place. I received my activation letter with my certificate no. valid for a two night accommodation for two adults in Williamsburg, VA arriving on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I kept trying to call and book my reservation. The attendant would tell me how far out they were booked and that they were not booking until such n such a date. Well none of the times worked out for me. So I finally just took a date so I could use my certificate. The requirement was to pay a $50.00 deposit for room taxes and the balance would be refunded at check in. I gave them my credit card number and she gave me a confirmation number. She told me I would get a letter in the mail with the place and information about my stay and if I did not receive it by mid May call back. My credit card was charged two days later on April 24th. So today is 19 May and no info received. I called and waited the typical 15minute on hold wait time for them to tell me there was no reservation and that my credit card was not charged, their was a problem and it was NOT charged. I explained that I have proof from my bank. They wanted me to give them my credit card number AGAIN. I said absolutely not, I have a confirmation number and proof it was paid. They said I could fax them the bank statement. But this is a done deal I know. I said a few choice words when I called back after seeing them on Rip Off. I am just glad it was only $50.00. I will keep reporting them to other agencies so that this doesn't happen to someone else.
