Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this FRAUDULANT company. I received a "free trip" from them for attending a travel agency presentation. I sent in $119 for taxes for this trip after submitting 6 different dates and being turned down for all of them I advised them to give me dates that were available or I would be contacting my attorney. Then they finally gave me a date that was accepted by them and I returned all of the documents they requested only to be told they never received them... Lucky for me I sent everything certified with delivery confirmation, after I faxed this information to them my documents magically appeared and I was actually going to be booked for this trip. About a month later I was contacted by one of their sales people and was convinced that without upgrading to their "VIP" package I may as well be ready for a nightmare vacation and was talked into upgrading this trip for an extra $380. I was promised I would get an extra night, a guaranteed early departure and late return (Red eye flight), a non stop flight, and numerous free slot plays certificates, match plays, and several free show tickets. Well, I received my package in the mail today and about had a heart attack. My flight departs at 10:50 a.m. in Detroit and arrives at 3:40 p.m. in Las Vegas, of course I thought this has to be a mistake because a flight from detroit to vegas is only 4 hours long so I call the airlines and am told this flight has 3 stops on my way there and 4 on my way home. My returning flight leaves at 2:20 p.m. vegas time and lands in Detroit at 11:05 p.m. now lets not forget Vegas is 3 hours behind detroit so this turns out to be over an 8 hour flight there and a 9 hour flight home. Folks this is what you get for the "VIP PACKAGE" with this company. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. I did call to complain and was told that none of what the sales person promised was guaranteed even though he did say those exact words but more or less an example of what they can usually do for the people who pay to upgrade... So in all I have paid over $500 for this crappy joke of a "free trip" and will never again fall for one of these scams. My mom and Dad just went to Vegas from Detroit in January on Northwest airlines and stayed 4 nights at the stratosphere hotel with nonstop flights, early departure and late returns and paid $525 total for their trip. Someone needs to sue this company!!!

If a deal sounds too good to be true..

My rebuttal will be for Joel from Canoga Park and Casablanca Express.
Lay off Joel! You seem to be on every one of these complains calling people ignorant and writing obnoxiously in all caps. Don't call people ignorant because they're promised something by a company after holding up their end of the bargain, by that I mean attending a so called "90" minute presentation that turns into 3 hours.
We shouldn't have to repeatedly deal with their upgrade suggestions, hang ups, lying about not receiving information to avoid booking us for a trip and having to make different deals with the hotels and airlines. Tell me if I'm wrong but isn't the whole point of going through Casablanca so that they handle everything and make sure everything is to the standard that they promised? They're the company getting paid, they should do what they have said they will do, because we already attended their ridiculous seminars with their horribly pushy tactics. So lay off Joel, either just offer good suggestions (not in all caps) to help others, or keep it to yourself and enjoy your wonderful trips.
As far as Casablanca, I was angry that I had to wait so long through the presentation to get anything, they lure you in with the chance to win either a lot of money or free trips, and it pretty much seemed like everyone was winning free trips, easier to screw you on that then on money. I have two certificates but after all the complaining, I'm not going to bother to use them, Im not taking time off of work to deal and worrying if I'm even going to enjoy my trip or what's going to go wrong..ridiculous.

Some people are so Ignorant! Casablanca express is a promotional Travel company. THEY MAKE THERE $$$ BY NO SHOWS AND UPGRADES - ONLY! I GOT MANY NICE TRIPS FROM THEM!
YOU MUST REFUSE ANY ADDITIONAL UPGRADE. ONE IT IS BOOKED YOU NEGOTIATE WITH THE HOTEL AND AIRLINE DIRECTLY. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR FLIGHT TIMES AT NO CHARGE BY FLYING STANDBY WITH ANY AIRLINE!
OF COURSE CASABLANCA DOES NOT WANT YOU TO TRAVEL - THATS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY! YOU PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES SO I CAN GET HAWAIAN VACATIONS FROM THEM FOR $100 for 2 people with r/t air.
I will buy your unwanted Casablanca certs so I can travel more - for FREE!

A Class Action lawsuit is in order

I too, have fallen prey to the business tactics of Casablanca Express. There are plenty of complaints out there, it's time for a class action suit! Personally, I am disabled and Casablanca booked me into a completely ADA non-compliant and unaccessible hotel property, even after I told them twice! My suggestion to others who have been ripped-off by Casablanca Express - click on the Legal Directory link at the top of this page and make an additional complaint. Or go to lawyersandsettlements.com and post your complainty on their form (no, I am not assciated with Lawyers and Settlements). It only takes a few complaints to the same law group for them to initiate a class action suit.
A class action suit is exactly what they need to put a halt to their fraudulent business practices, plus, everyone listed in the class stands to gain some monetary damage award. I've sent in my complaint. Send yours too!

Take Action AGAINST CASABLANCA EXPRESS!!!!!!

I also went to one of those phony timeshare presentations and won free trips. But because I have been scammed in the past, and was an avid user of this website, i decided to look-up consumer reports about this company. And what better place to do it than here. To make a long story short, I did some researching online and I think the best thing we can do as consumer is if you have been scammed by this company; report there deceptive trade practice to the state that licenses them which is the attorney general state of california/california seller of travel. I would also recommend the Better Business Bureau. We have to take action vocally and legally!!!!Good Luck!
