I received a email & text with loan of $5000 with $145 monthly payment for 36 months without any upfront fee. Sounded good??? DAVID Johnson (has strong accent) from cash advance America was attainment & persistence on "confirming” my online banking, routing & account number. He ask my security question. I got suspicious when I received a text message from my bank alert with a temporary passcode. I tried to log onto my account & the password was changed. I was shocked! He said he had to confirm my account! For 3 hours, he kept on calling me on my cell & at my work & I kept on getting the text alert from my bank. I was supposed to get a deposit into my account & im supposed to go to western union & send the amount back to him for verification. I think he was trying really hard but I had a block on my account so he couldn’t do it. I immediately went to the bank & caught it in time. I closed out my online access because he has my social security number and he can change it. In addition I signed up for credit monitoring. I learned my lesson. "If it’s too good to be true, it’s probably is”. I file this report, maybe it will help others.
