Cash for laptops, cash for iphones erecyle scam artist, bait and switch, rip off artists reno Nevada

I had a 2 week old ipad air 5th generation that I didn't need and decided to sell. I had used the company cash for laptops off the internet twice in the past selling computers and had been very happy with the results. I contacted the company, told them the conditon of the device. It still has the plastic film on the screen! They offered me 373.00, I accepted, they sent me a prepaid box to send it to them. I was told the transaction would be very quick, I could have a payment within the next day more than likely into my paypal account.

It took a week to get to them because they use 3rd postage. I didn't hear anything from them for a week. I wrote them, they told me I had to be patient. I was then notified twice by email that they couldn't use my device because it was hooked up my iphone. They sent me instructions on how to disengaged the two devices. I tried it, didnt work. I called them. The receptionist offered to do it for me. I trusted the company, I allowed them to do so.

I waited again..no response. 2 days later at 7:30 on a Friday night I got an email from them. They were going to send me 59.00 for my ipad!!! Thats ALL. I was extremely upset. I decided I just wanted my ipad back. It was worth far more than 59.00. I tried to email them back..no response. I tried to call them...voice mail saying that they were closed until Monday morning. The next day I received about 3 emails and a phone call from them stating that they were closed till Monday.

I called Monday morning as soon as they opened (PST). I was on hold for over 30 minutes. When I finally got to speak to a person, she told me I had to talk to purchasing. I was put on hold for another 10 minutes.

When I finally got to speak to the purchasing manager it was a complete farce. He lied about everything. Everything that came out of his mouth was a lie, it sounded like it was scripted. He told 1. My device had scratches on the back, they had to replace the back. Lie #1. He told me the home button didn't work right they had to fix that Lie #2. 

He told me that a month had passed since the offer had been made to me and the device had deappreciated. Lie #3. If thats the case then why on their website does my particular brand/model of device still show they offer $373.00??

He told me that he couldn't give me the device back before it had already been processed. Lie #4. Their website tells you that you have 3 business days to contact them if you aren't happy with the price offer. They told me on Friday night the offer, I called Monday. How is that 3 business days?

He told me that I should have called them because they are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lie #5. I started contacting them on a Friday night as soon as I got the email and couldn't speak to anyone till Monday morning. How are they open 24 hours????

He then told me that since I was a return customer he could offer me another 141.00 for the ipad bringing the price to 200.00!! How could he do this??? How could he suddenly offer me more money?????

I again repeated that I wanted my device back. He said that it wasn't possible and I should just accept the money and forget about it because my device wasn't worth 373.00. He t old me that only a brand new never opened ipad would be worth 373.00!! Thats not why the website says. Lie #6.

It ended with me being extremely unhappy and him offering me 200.00 to be put into my paypal account. I lost 173.00 in this deal. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and will contact also the FTC and the Attorney General's office.

I did receive a 200.00 payment from them today but I refuse to accept it. I want my device back or the 373.00 I was promised. They lied repeatedly and have ripped me off.
