I have been paying on this Cash Call account for 2 and half years (5000.00) loan.I was just recently laid off from my company. So the first thing i did was contact them and ask if i could make a settlement payment of 2500.00 I was turned down. When i start recieving unemployment that will pay for the livelyhood until i find another job. I just didnt understand why the wouldn't accept the payoff.I have already given you the money back and more. This is just a big rip off. This is something i will never ever do or recommend !!!!! Cash Call is a joke

Andrea thanks , i did sign for the loan which is understood. As i inform the rep. i will pay until i cant't pay any longer if a job doesnt come along soon the payment will stop, because unemployment doesn't spread that far.I will definitily listen to what advise you had . I actually know a couple of people that took the loan also who have done the samething as you.

#3 Consumer Suggestion
Do not pay attention

I have a suggestion for you stop paying them they will harrass you but after 3 or 4 months they will want to settle with you. Duane has a point they do not have an obligation to help you but they also do not have an obligation to be J**ks either. You signed a contract to pay yes! But you did not sign a contract to be harrassed. You are going to get a lot of rebutals like you took out the loan its your responsibility. In the first place I have no idea why they are even on this site if they think the company is so damb great. Anyway I went through a similar situation but they threatened to garnish my wages which is funny because they can not do that unless they have a court order. However, send them a certified letter telling them not to contact you by phone only by mail and email. If they choose not to comply keep everything for your records this way if they take you to court you have proof that you made an attempt. Keep documentation for example if they call you after you send them the letter write the time, date, and person who contacted you. They can not file fraudulent charges against you because you had been paying now if you never made even one payment then they could. Look up the laws in your state because every state varies, but belief it or not you have rights. Good luck!

......you agreed to their terms and took a loan from them anyway?
They are in no way obligated to do anything other than what is in the contract. It is the same obligation that you agreed to.
