I was trying to consolidate some loans and credit cards so I could free up funds for an invention, and I needed to pay for a patent.

I then did an online search for capital and was contacted by Centerline Financial Group. I was told I was approved for $20,000, guarnteed.

I was then told later that the loan had to be secured, and I must take the security to Wal Mart and send the funds to someone in Canada. I was then told by Moneygram of these scams, and a woman named Lisa Miller at Centerline assured me that this was not them, and that they had no complaints and I checked with the BBB and found no complaints.

I then wired $3,400 plus 68 for the Moneygram. And then they never answered my calls again. I was assured of a refund if not funded fully but was told that the lenders declined to fund me. A customer service rep named Ben told be that I would get a refund check from Federal Express on 6-16-07 and it never arrived or was ever sent. This after I sent funds on the 6th of June and the 11th of June. I then saw your e-mail when I tried to go to their web site again. I took two days off of work based on the dates given to me by Ben to recieve my refund, and it never arrived. Boy am I upset and dumb.

you need to contact the bbb in st louis missouri - they will send you a report to fill out - send them copies of the paperwork too - change your bank account - protect yourself - the fbi the ftc and the bbb - you can contact phonebuster.ca and file a report -

i was told that the only way that anything will get done is if there is enough money involved and if enough people will file complaints. it sucks but we all need to try.

someone has to be working with moneygram and be an insider in canada - the phone service that they use is easytel canada - and they have a website - the fbi might be the only ones to help because the can get that kind of info from those people

agggghh! this is so frustrating and i am so angry that people can take advantage of people like us.
