This company os a collection agency that loves to abuse debtors to the point where they have mental breakdowns! It is disgusting the way they treat people.
In August 2006, Michael Montero of this company called my husband on his cell phone over a problem with his Sears credit card while my husband was in his therapist's office. Michael Montero was nasty and abusive, screaming at my husband at top volume so the therapist could clearly hear every word he said. My husband started freaking out when Michael Montero threatened to throw him IN JAIL and the therapist started to ask Michael Montero to stop yelling. The b*****d yelled at her! I reported Montero's actions to his superiors, but nothing was ever done and the scumsucker still works there.
Fast forward to January 2007 and those bastards left my husband alone after I reported them to the FTC, the New York City Department of Conumer Affairs and anyone who would listen. Now they are harassing me for a credit card that I fell behind on when I got hit with a huge tax bill in 2006. One representative was rude and nasty, saying I should go tell it to my girlfriend, implying that I am a l*****n. Never mind that I have been married for almost seven years. Jason, his supervisor, said I had to come up with 430.00 by the end of January or be sued, both of which are violations of my rights under the federal FDCPA. A cease and desist letter will be going in the mail on the next business day.
How do companies like these liars and abusers stay in business!
