Central Support And Savings ripoff - credit card scam Nationwide

I received a phone call on my cell phone at about 9AM from a man telemarketing for "Central Support & Savings". He told me that I was pre-approved for an unsecured Mastercard with a $2500 limit. The cost was $299 to be electronically debited from my checking account. I told him that I didn't have that kind of money, but he told me that I could pay the $299 up-front and then just put the amount on the card. He told me that the interest on the card was going to be 6.5% and that there was no annual fee. I naively gave him my checking account information. Weeks later I recieved a phone call from a similar company asking me to buy another one of the "cards". I explained that I already paid for one, and the telemarketer told me that I had been ripped off. He said that the company that "sold" me the "card" was a scam.

When I finally recieved the package I paid $299 for, all there was inside it was a bunch of worthless offers, and an application to get my "Stored-Value" mastercard for $25. So, these scumbags think that if I gave them $299, and got nothing of value in return that maybe I'll be foolish enough to give them an extra $25. That's bold.
