I contacted CIS because I owed the IRS money. They were supposed to file an Offer Of Compromise with the IRS on my behalf. I've been paying them monthly for six months totaling over $1500. I tried calling the company on 7/30/08 to find out if there has been any progress. The phone was disconnected. I tried emailing and the emails came back as an error. I tried calling the lawyer directly and his phone number was disconnected. I tried their website and this is when I realized the company had went out of business.
