Charter Communications Cable Set up an installation date, cut off my phones from my previous company and then couldn't do the installation and wouldn't turn my phone back on Watauga Texas

I called Charter and made an appointment (jan 2nd) to have my phone, internet, and televison service thru them. They checked my address and said they could provide service to me. They showed up and the tec couldn't find the box to connect to my house. He told me a line man would have to come out and run a line. He didn't show up or call that day even though they said he would contact me and come out.

What upset me was Charter had notified Verizon, (my phone provider) and turned off my phone serive. I asked Charter to contact Verizon and get my phone turned on until they were ready to install their service. They didn't do that.

I called them several times and got transfered to different departments, cut off, and left on hold for over 30 minutes. This happend again the next day. I was finally told that a rush order was made and the tec would be at my house on the 3rd to run the phone line. He didn't call or show up. Now it has been two days with NO phone. I am a doctor and really needed to have my phone working.

I also run a small business out of my house. Not to mention the number of minutes I went over on my cell phone since I had to use it all day long. Charter is disorganized, and incompetant, and doesn't know the meaning of customer satisfaction . I cancelled the installation and I hope to get my phone turned back on asap.
