Thursday afternoon my cable service was modified
by someone or something which serverly cut my
service level.

When @home bankrupted, I was contacted by Charter, and
service restored about a week later. It was
negotiated that I had channels 2-99 + internet,
they would give me my modem, thereby ending
leasing charges. The rate would be whatever it
is I've been paying. (about $50). This was a negotiated
rate for not changing providers, and staying with Charter.

Of course, that's completely forgotten about by now.

Wednesday evening 5/7/03 after 5PM my service
stops in a fashion that appears someone put a
band pass filter on my ckt. I was at home when
this happened. I thought it was a system failure
and didn't report it until Thursday. I have no
service over channel 32.

I have changed nothing. The service was running as
it was left by your installer. The installer informed
me I was getting channels 2-99, + internet.

The contact numbers you
have given to the BBB do not work and will be
reported to them. I am extremely angry to be
told by customer service that they have no
records from the original service order and show
I never had that service.

Customer service did not satisfy
the problem. They promised to have a supervisor
call me at home 5/8/2003 which did not occur.
I have tried to call all the numbers listed in
the BBB, which either reach a dead end "this
person cannot be reached from this service," or
otherwise prevented me from complaining to the
contact listed in the BBB.

Friday morning 5/9/2003, I finally reached someone at the
Ft Worth office. They completely deny the winback team
negotiated for the service I have at the rate I have been
paying. Again, the service was installed over two years ago by Charter technicains. The technician reviewed the work order and acknowledged all was correct.

TREENA LEWIS who was answering for the person listed as a dispute contact, JANIE IRVIN, was unwilling to look at my service
order. JANIE IRVIN, who is listed in the BBB is not reachable. They insisit that I never was supposed to be getting extended basic service.

I WOULD HAVE NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO THE SERVICE FOR THE RATE THEY ARE PROPOSING, FOR THE SERVICE LEVEL I HAD. (ALMOST $100/MO.)

I have every intention of restoring the extended channels, but
I'm certainly not paying these bastards for it.
