BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY WHEN IT COMES TO ADDING SERVICES TO YOUR CURRENT SERVICES. THEY WILL DOUBLE BILL YOU AND WILL HAVE RUDE COLLECTIONS PEOPLE CALLING YOU FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT DUE THEM. WE CHANGED OUR DSL SERVICE FROM A DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS TO A STATIC IP ADDRESS IN OCT 10. THE PEOPLE THAT CHANGED IT SAID THAT THEY HAD TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT AND THAT THEY WOULD CLOSE THE OLD ACCOUNT IF WE SWITCHED THE SERVICE. ANY TYPE OF SERVICE CHANGE INITIATES A NEW ACCOUNT PER THEIR STAFF. SO WE AGREED TO THAT ARRANGEMENT SINCE THEY WERE GOING TO CLOSE THE OLD ACCOUNT. LITTLE DID WE KNOW THAT WE HAD TO PAY DOUBLE THE BILL SINCE THE OLD ACCOUNT UNTIL TODAY IS STILL NOT CLOSED. WE KEEP CALLING THEM AND THEIR STAFF KEEP SAYING NOT TO WORRY AND THAT THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. MEANTIME WE ARE BEING HARASSED ON A DAILY BASIS WITH 3 PHONE CALLS PER DAY FOR A $90.33 BILL WHICH ORIGINALLY WAS $79.99. THEY HAVE ADDED SERVICE CHARGES EVERY MONTH DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE ARE PAYING OUR ACTUAL REAL ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH ON TIME. THE NEW ACCOUNT WAS ALMOST DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL ACCOUNT BECAUSE OF THE ADDED SERVICES THAT WE REQUESTED. THIS IS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE. I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT WE ALREADY PAID FOR IN ANOTHER ACCOUNT. THIS IS AN "INHOUSE BILLING ISSUE" PER THEIR STAFF EVERY TIME WE CALL.

MAKE SURE to let us know if this guy really does anything for you. Alot of shills just post garbage like this to make the company look good, hoping the author doesn't followup.

The only reason Witten Henderson is now responding to this complaint is because I filed a report against them with the Better Business Bureau and blogged about their service on various sites. This case should not have taken 8 months to resolve. Charter has ruined my credit over a $90.33 debt that i did not owe. They double billed us and finally they resolved this by closing the other account. But 8 months? And to ruin the credit score of a person over an "inhouse" billing errors is not right. Absolution is not due to this company. Check out all the thousands of blogs about how aweful Charter Communications staff are.
