Last month 2 PPV transactions appeared on my bill and the transaction occured at around 11AM when no one was in the house. I live alone, a 62 year old female, I was at work and supposedly ordered a $49.95 boxing match. At the same time I supposedly ordered a $5.99 adult movie. Neither of which ever happened from my remote or in my house.
I have spoken to Charter 4 or 5 times and they refuse to remove the charges from my bill. I was also directed to a disclaimer on the bill that states they are not held responsible for the charges.
This practice has been going on with Charter for some time now - when are they going to be held responsible for their unethical practices. What recourse does a person have?
