Not to use a credit card? Or not to buy from a company that will fold? How would you know? Companies and banks take over each other all the time..but your specific complaint still makes no sense..so it is not yet valid.
You need to coherently state what the actual complaint is before helping anyone else or possibly get help for it yourself. If the only complaint as you state in the OP is the interest rates are outrageous..then don't use that card. We all hate high rates but no one is forcing us to use a credit card.
I am starting to think this is a prank..if so..you got me good. Thumbs up. If not..it was still a waste of time and web space.

I don't know if I can help..

I simply do not understand why the interest rates would change if you purchased something from CC/Chase and are sticking to the agreement. CC may have folded, but Chase did not.
I will ask some people I know from Best Buy corporate if any 36 month no interest purchases back from CC/Chase were converted to 24 when best Buy took over..but I don't think this is the way it works. Best Buy wants the old CC business, the last thing they want to do is ruin any customers credit ratings or change any terms to hurt a customer they want and need in this tough economy..just makes no sense at all.

My complant is with CHASE my info states that i pay the minum it will be paid my sales reciept that i DID NOT miss a payment allways pAY MY BILLS YOU don,t get a high credit rating if you are slow paid more than more times than minum as well as I remember it was 36 months interest at Circuit City then it got taken over by BestBUY that,s when the trouble started

So...who is the complaint against?
AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, August 07, 2010
Eddie....you stated in your last reply that you had an account with a big box retailer and they went belly up. Best Buy certainly did not go belly up. Circuit City did...and although the information is a bit vague...it seems Best Buy did take over some CC accounts....which are Chase.
I think you need to look into this or provide additional information. There may be a way some of us can help or advise... but simply lodging a complaint which is blaming Best Buy is not enough to go on.

Watch this film and see in documentary form what is being done to the American public. We need to stop using credit cards since their goal is to make us all their slaves.

Best Buy card is now from Chase. But this is irrelevant.
When Chase took over BestBuy from HSBC, I highly doubt suddenly all Best Buy customers who were enrolled in 24 months no interest were suddenly charged interest. This site would be FLOODED to capacity with complaints about this, heck there would be lawsuits and news reports etc.
The OP never answered the question..which is were any payments late?..because if so..you get RAMMED with interest.

Confusing Report
AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 26, 2010
This report is very confusing and pehaps the OP could expand on what their actual "issue" is in more than two sentences total.
As to what they did write.
Best Buy is a "Big Box retailer". They don't go around buying up Credit Accounts. So I don't see how their account was sold to Best Buy.
HSBC NOT Chase manages the Best Buy Credit Card. Unless something has changed very recently I am not sure why Chase is in the title.

A no interest credit purchase is a great deal..unless you make a payment late..then it's all over.

Don't sign up for a card with an outrageous interest rate. Better yet, don't borrow money at all with a credit card. Even though there has been some governmental "reform" in the industry, there are still plenty of ways to lose your shirt with a credit card.
