I booked with cheapcruises.com almost a year before my cruise. This was to ensure I was getting the best rates. They had me on a scheduled pay plan. The last payment was suppose to be debited from my account on 06/13/2014. The took the payment almost two weeks early on 06/03/2014. When I called about this they told me that obviously I called in or went online to change it. I told the representative I did no such thing and it was very rude of her to suggest it was MY fault. Needless to say this threw my whole account off. They told me it would be two weeks before the money could be refunded. two weeks was also when they were suppose to debit the money. So, what would that solve. They gave me a $50 OBC Afor the confusion. Which they also said happens a lot. So, again, if it happens a lot, why would you try to blame the customer.

  Fast forward: It is now 20 something days before our cruise and the price has dropped to $269. We booked at $319. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with rude agents they still wouldn't allow me the difference. The lady said I wasn't booked under "early savers", although mind  you, I booked almost a year in advance. She told me I should have known what i was getting. I told her it wasn't my place to know. I'm not the travel experts, they are. Hence the reason I called an agent to book.

The lady was EXTREMELY rude and so was the carnival agent. I believe they spoke on the phone about NOT compensating me BEFORE she conferenced me in the call. The cheapcruises agent seemed to take pleasure in the carnival agent telling me they would do absolutely NOTHING to compensate us. She told me next time I would know to wait until the last minute before booking a cruise!!!!! She said the cruise line wouldn't risk their business. What?!!!!! What would a billion dollar cruise line loose by giving me a $100 OBC that WILL STILL BE SPENT ON THEIR SHIP?!!!

 I have NEVER seen such unprofessionalism with anyone. Cheapcruises.com and Carnival has definitely lost another customer. They should really find more friendlier and professional people to be VACATION planners.
