So I had been using Chime internet banking for months and everything was going great. Never had an issue...until this week. So the bank out of nowhere suspends my account without even warning me. All my direct deposits and automatic withdrawals are bouncing now. I call and ask why I was suspended and they tell me my account is being investigated and when it’s done they will let me know if they can reopen or not. I asked why was it being investigated as I do nothing out of the ordinary and I get the "WE CANT TELL YOU” answer.

I also asked how long does it take and was told "we don’t know”. In the meantime they have 776.00 of my money being held. I can’t even get on the app to get the necessary answers and calling customer service is a joke as they know NOTHING. So now I am in limbo not knowing what the hell is going on or how to get my money back. So do yourself a favor, DONT USE CHIME! Go to a bank with a brick and mortar location so if things take a bad turn, they can’t hide from you like they do here.

In order to at least look like a semi-intelligent adult and not a twelve year old, STOP making the first word of a sentence "so"! It looks very childish. Beyond that, if you would have READ the account agreement information when you opened the account, you would have seen its in THEIR bank and they can close it at any time. I would further advise you to be keeping written records of each and every transaction, maintaining a running balance and using the monthly statement to balance the account monthly. That's called account management.
