CIC Credit Monitor Service I gave my credit card number to get a free report in Fall 2001 was charged 79.95 then cancelled the service 2 years later I am being charged 79.95 again Internet

In the Fall of 2001, I subscribed to CIC Credit Monitoring Service to get a free credit report, giving them a credit card number online. About 2 months later, after not receiving what was promised, I cancelled the service.

In October of 2003, I noticed a charge on the same credit card I had given CIC for additional 79.95. I have attempted to contact them to remove the charge, but have had no luck.

I have been ripped off by CIC not once but twice. What will stop them from doing this again?
