A month ago I received a free credit report from freecreditprofile.com. The rules stated that I could receive this and cancel within 30 days and owe nothing, but if I didn't cancel within 30 days my card would be charged $79.95. I cancelled within 2 days, and 30 days later I was charged the fee anyway. When I called the company I got the report from, they said they did not charge my card. When I called the number on my bank statement (CIC - 877-513-4175), I got no reply.

I noticed that over 800 other people have been scammed in this similar manner, and I intend to do something about getting my money back, and hopefully an investigation for others as well.
