CIC Credit Monitoring Service unauthorized billing, improper crediting, incomplete cancellation of service Internet
We used CIC to obtain our credit reports and correct disputes. We agreed to pay for the extended service for one time only. Our banking account was charged accordingly. The service was then cancelled by email.
This months billing statement included an unauthorized billing of $79.95. After being on hold for 32 minutes I spoke to a person who did not speak much English who said she would cancel my account (it already was canceled the month prior). I, with MUCH effort, finally got her to agree to credit my account. She said this would take 7-10 business days.
Hopefully this will happen. I will have to monitor my bank account daily.
