CIC Credit Monitoring rip-off Internet

I was wondering why my checking account was overdrawn this month. Well, low and behold there is a charge for this company. My husband, who is not even from the states and has no credit history, decided to try the free-trial-offer. He signed up, never could get a report and didn't get a confirmation # that they told him he would get. He never received any information from them. I guess he also emailed them and told them to cancel it. They didn't cancel their payment, that is for sure. So now I know where that extra $79.95 went!

I called to tell them to give me back my money immediately and they said that since my husband signed up, he had to be the one to call. He called (just a minute ago) and they tried to convince him to stay in their plan.

He told them absolutely not and they informed him that they will reimburse our money within a week. All I can say is, it SURE better be back in my account in a week and a week is all I'm giving them.

I told my husband to NEVER do business with a company like this ever. I know scams, but he is still new to this area and a bit on the naive side.
