Cingular rebate ripoff 2 cell phone rebates @ $50 each Internet

We purchased 2 cell phones from Cingular over the phone September 2005.

We were promised a rebate of $50 each and the rebate form would be in the Welcome Kit which we would receive in 2 weeks.

No Welcome Kit arrived and I called Cingular Service and told a Welcome Kit would be soon coming. No kit arrived. I called them again on 10/31/05 and again was told a Kit would soon arrive. The Welcome Kit did arrive and the total kit contained one piece of paper telling me how wonderful Cingular is; no rebate forms were in the kit.

I went to the local Cingular retail outlet in Portland, TX and the sales person gave me a rebate form, which didn't match the phones I had purchased, and he told me, "Don't worry, this form will work, just send it in."

My claim was denied since the dates on the form did not match the rebate program when I bought the phones.

Since I can't get the proper forms, if this rebate is not settled, I will deduct the $100 from the last payment under my contract and do business with another cell phone compay.
