Professional Collection Consultants/collections for cingular/AT&T collected money from my daughters banck account without sending me a notice prior to doing so. Los Angeles California

I read several other complaints and I saw many that related to what i experienced myself. I was on a bank account as the adult for my daughters bank. Shewas saving money from her very first njob at the age of 16. On a saturday morning I received a phone call to contact Chase bank. Turns out that her bank account had been sucked dry by this PCC company. A wireless phone account that I had with an ex of mine was sent into collections because after I was unemployed and could no longer pay for the over the top bill, He continued using the phone and never paid it. Being in my name, I got stuck with a bill of over $3,000. Never in the 10 years since this account or phone was used did I receive a notice or a bill saying that wages or bank accounts would be garnished.

I contacted Mr. Ron Jacobs at PCC and he told me that the LAPD had the collections and that if i didnt begin to pay on it I would have all bank accounts cleaned out as well as my husbands bank account cleaned out. So, out of fear of this threat, I set up a payment plan with them and have made 2 payments of $100 using a credit card as well as a prepaid card. This payment arraigment was made in June of 2016. Now that I see how others have filed complaints it makes me wonder of this is legit or if Im being scammed. They cleaned out my daughters bank account of $480. and told me they could not give it back to her that I would have to pay it back. Then it was followed with if I dont pay the amount of $3,000. My husbands wages and bank accounts would alos be garnished and cleaned out.
