CIT Lease Finance Group is the biggest rip off artist out there. I called them up to pay off my lease after never being behind in the past 48 months and paid the remaining balance on my loan ahead of schedule. They accepted the payment and then turned around and put on my credit report derogatory comments that they accepted a settlement on the account instead of say I paid as agreed which I did. Avoid them they are dishonest and will screw up your credit report even if you fulfill your obligations.
