I recently went in to get an RRSP loan through the CoOperators. CitiFinancial is one of their recommended lenders.

To make a long story short- my credit score is around 730-750 and CityFinancial attempted to charge me 30.99% interest on a $1500 RRSP loan. The also tried to talk my wife into a debt consolidation loan at 25% interest (her credit record is comparable to mine).

Needless to say neither of us will do business with CitiFinancial now or ever. We were both able to get RRSP loans for 4.5% elsewhere.

onemain financial/citifinancial everything paid goes to interest. been paying for 7 yrs. and still owe more than what originally i borrowed. NEVER do business with this institution. they claim to be helping you but don't disclose the consequences of obtaining their help. for instance, i was not told that DAILY interest would be charged. the result is that the debt gets higher and higher with no end in sight. you will be paying all your life. blue ridge Georgia

Citifinancial I got a $54,000 loan from them in 2007, as of March 2014 I still owe them $51,400 and pay them $479.80 per month. How can this be legal? This loan will never be paid off and I cannot believe they can do this to people. I want help on this matter. Nationwide
