CityGrid Media CitySearch Internet Scam, Money for Nothing , Internet

I have used CitySearch when looking for businesses on my travels, so I thought they were a reputable company.  I had avoided going with other companies that charged fees up front with no guarantee of performance. 
The person I talked to from CityGrid told me that their's was different in that they got paid only if they brought me increased traffic.  She further explained that while they charged per click, they would be ones that had a good chance of bringing me business (not just random clicks).  I was offered a free professional video if I signed up with a
monthly budget of $625.  This was more than I could afford without an good increase in business, but they convinced me that I was only going to pay if they performed and I had always wanted a professional video, so I signed on.

It took a while to get their "improvements" to my listing right.  Once it was set-up, the counter started clicking.  At first it didn't seem like much was happening and then the counter started moving very fast.  I wasn't getting any calls or online reservations, but the clicks were accumulating.  Before I knew it, I was up to 465 clicks ($605) and had only gotten 1 call.  My video was scheduled, but hadn't been done yet, so I contacted CityGrid Media and told them to stop.  I didn't hear
anything right away, so I sent another email officially cancelling my ad campaign.  This time I got a response and was told that it had already been cancelled.  I checked my account to see what I owed and it showed zero.  At this point I didn't trust them, so I loaned my business enough money that I wouldn't overdraft.  Sure enough, they drafted the account
and I was told in an email that my video had been cancelled.  I have essentially paid $625 for nothing!!

By all means use all the free listings you can, but Do Not Pay these people for anything!  You Will Be Disappointed!!
