Colonial Home Warranty Poor Warranty Internet

Watch out with this company! They tell you that you cancel anytime, but when you do they not only subtract $50 for each policy (three policies), but also all repairs that occurred during the policy periods.  I signed up for three years (special promotion), spent over $3,000 for this warranty, had two years left on one and year and half the other two and they only paid me back only $381.00.   When I cancelled over the phone there was no mention of the repairs being subtracted.   I canceled these policies because I was unhappy with their company for the following reasons:  they fight on every claim; it takes days to get repairs fixed; you only can reach their customer service/claims/billing during a nine hour eastern standard
window; if you appeal a claim they will not notify you on that appeal, you have to notify them. Every technician that came out tried me to up sell their products ( a quieter garage door opener, filter cleaning, a bigger pool pump).
