In response to the gentleman's suggestion on how to correct the situation concerning Columbia House DVD Club's business system malfunctions:

In some instances customers in business communication reach a point where they no longer feel it is worth responding, in order to correct a situation. For my internal representation, that means I am past the point of frustration and being a dissatisfied customer.

There are glitches in Columbia House internet and customer service communication that need to be tended to immediately! My question would be why should I continue to trust what anyone has to say about the Columbia House DVD business process, since I have already had problems with it and do not want to continue the perseveration. I worked in Computer Operations for 20 years, that is certainly not it either.

It is not legal for someone to automatically charge my credit card in order to fulfill part of my contract obligation on their time frame. Apparently American Express though so, as well, when they canceled the charge.

I spent some of my precious time trying to get the internet system just to recognize full screen version, instead of automatically picking a wide-screen version. Sometime it worked, sometime it didn't.

Maybe the only manner of which to get Columbia House to fix their broken business is to have the FTC, BBB, and legal system, with continued pressure, give them a nudge in that direction.

Best Regards,

Dan
