Commercial Investigations Inc. These people pressured us to list a bad debt with them for a standard collection fee of 20%. Then two weeks later they asked us for $600 to cover up front legal fees. Wanted to do a check by phone. At this point I canceled the collection. They would not cancel their representation of our company. While on the phone I could hear their phone agents yelling and cursing furiously. Van Nuys California

It's a start...They are paying attention to this 'company'...

The complaint hotline is a lie - you call and the person on the other line tries to bully you into paying a debt or joining their sham. Outside of this website, there are numerous other complaints. Commercial Investigations tells creditors and other potential clients that they are attorneys or work in that capacity. They are liars. There complaint hotline is not what they say it is. They are not attorneys nor are they legal assistants; they know nothing. The company has not been around long and after a indepth search and background check, they pretty much suck like all other debt collection companies. Whatever tactics work is how they get their money. They nothing about the law or how it pertains to debt collection. They actually have nothing to do but search the web and try to counteract the damage. Doesn't that show how ignorant and stupid they look? If you need the services of a debt collection agency, research them and if attorneys are involved, do the background check on them as well. Check for complaints and other negative feedback and information. Attorneys NEVER contact you at home looking for your business like these guys. Commercial Investigations, give it up - you are through. The State of California will be investigating your practices for several reasons but one is the best - you are posing as attorneys.
