Computer Associates Rebate Center Does not send rebates in a timely manner. Uses failure to send COMPLETE rebate requiements as an excuse to prevent rebate when materials have actually been sent. El Paso, Texas

This is the second time Computer Associates has refused rbate due to lack of proper proof of purchase. In both cases they were incorrect. This delays the return of the rebate allowing them to use the accumulated monies to acumulate interest on these outstanding monies.
There are methods are to try to prevent requstors to give up and forget the rebates.
Information is given that rebates will take aabout 4-6 weeks, but are seldom paid within 6 months.
