First of all, any technical training program that costs you 28K AND requires a "co-signer" is a red flag. You should hear the sirens going off right now.
Secondly, if you google Computertraining.com, the only thing you will find are negative reivews, page after page. I've never seen so many for a "trade school" before.
Third, remember that the Admissions person that sells you this crap and the Career Services that they tout as helping you land a job after graduation, are PAID commissions on you not only staying and finishing the program but they are paid a commission when they place you. They don't care about WHERE they place you, or how much your salary is, all they care about is that they placed you so they can get their commission check.
You are nothing but a number to them, and a dollar sign.
Also the average starting salary is NOT 50k, 60k, 70k like the admissions rep will tell you(to justify the horrendously expensive price tag, he/she will tell you "Why bother worrying about the tuition cost when you will land a job starting between 50-70K" Trust me, this is their "canned" pitch) The ACTUAL starting salary is between 30-40K and they are entry level computer jobs, helpdesk positions.
So, you do the math. You pay 28,500 for a 6 month "program", the people that are touted as "helping you" are really being paid incentives and commissions and dont have your best interest at heart, and the starting salaries are REALLY 30-40K.
My suggestion: go to community college, get an associates degree, and get a real "certification". This is only microsoft certified. Employers will not hire you for anything but entry level because they know what a joke this program is.
Look at their name; Computertraining.com
Any trade school that ends in "dot com" would be embarrassing to admit

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Agreed
AUTHOR: ex-employee - (United States of America)

I'm an ex-employee and I can tell you, Computertraining.edu has alot of empty promises. On their website in bold letters it says; "see what grants and scholarships you qualify for". This is far from the truth, they don't accept any scholarships their main funding option is through Sallie Mae loans. I know because I had to speak with the students directly and when those questions were asked of me, I was told to defer these questions while on the call. The complaints speak for themselves! I have yet to see a rebuttal from a student that had at least some success with this company.

REBUTTALS??!!
AUTHOR: Beware - (U.S.A.)

And I've noticed there are a FEW Rebuttals in the sea of complaints against this company. Since anyone can post a complaint, or a rebuttal to defend that complaint, and remain anonymous, how authentic is this 'rebuttal"? How do you know that it's not a computertraining.com employee? Career services person? Admissions rep? The fact is, the more complaints are posted on this site, the less credible they become and the less students will enroll and believe their crap.
They can post a rebuttal and hide who they are. I believe, actually I know for a fact, some of the so-called "success stories" that are posted on their website and that line the walls of their offices, are fakes.
I challenge ANYONE who is posting a rebuttal who is a happy and content graduate, to verify exactly where you work, your title, and graduation date. If its such a success story you have nothing to hide and should want to share this with the world, if Computertraining.com is such a great deal and delivers on what they promise.
I question the rebuttals because there are so few of them and I highly doubt they are real. One of them is from an actual computertraining.com employee. Hmm..what kind of vested interest does she have?
They will not last in the kansas city market. I am even thinking about going to the local t.v. station here, Call For Action, to investigate them. I"m sick and tired of shoddy businesses that continue to rip people off and nobody takes any action to stand up to them. Computertraining.com, you will not last very long in overland park.
