Consumer Capital Services ripoff con scam lies fraud Chicago Illinois

I was contacted by a guy named Rafi who claimed to be with a company named Consumer Capital Services. He told me that i had been approved for two credit cards. A visa card with a $1,500.00 limit, and a mastercard with a $2500.00 limit. it was sapose to help me build better credit, because of lack of credit he said i was required to put up a 279.00 deposit up front.

after he talked his line of crap i thought it was kind of suspicious but like a fool i went along with it. even worse i gave him my bank acount number and permission for him to draft it from my acount. he told me that in 10-21 days i would recieve a package in the mail, with credit establishment information, and 48 hours later i would recieve my cards in the mail directly from the bank for security reasons. he then transfered me to some woman who basically went over all the same things and said she had to record our conversation and had me read my acount info again and authorize them to autodraft my acount. after getting off the phone with them somthing didnt seem right so i checked on the internet and found a rip off report about the same company saying the same things.

luckily i was able to freeze my bank acount and transfer funds before any harm was done. i was very lucky. you may not be so check up on any company you do business with. thank you very much ripoffreport.com for saving me from being a victim of a con that has probrably happened to a lot of other innocent people.
