Consumer Info.com Aka Cic Monitor ripoff Took money out of my checking account fraudently. ripped off and scammed Orange California

My husband called me from work and advised me that about $80.00 dollars was coming out of our account. I just automatically assumed that it was our monthly insurance.

The following day I checked bank to see if direct deposit had gone through. I saw visa-cic*credit monitor 877-513-4 $79.95.

I did not know what this was so I searched the web for cic*credit monitor and it went straight to ripoffreport.com. This the second time this has happen to me inless then 2 weeks.

First it was MKS Simple Escapes for $134.95 my money was returned in 3 business days, now this. I knew the company was a scam from the start, it says free credit report and every time you try to view a credit report it ask for $19.95.

So I cancelled my so called free trial membership the same day, advised them that I had better not see a charge on my account and do not contact me ever again. A month later theres a charge on my account. I talked to some friends and they told me that similar had happen to them with other companys but they did not catch it until later on because they do not monitor their banking account daily on line.

How do these companys stay in business. I know the attorney generals offices in each of these states are getting the reports. Why aren't there charges being pressed against them.

How are our tax dollars working if they are not doing their jobs. We all need to contact our state senators or congressmen to make changes in these laws so that the companys can be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

There should be jailed time and not in a federal prison and high fines so that these companys won't be so tempted or will be detered from trying to take money from hard working people.
