This company is disgraceful!! I had my 2004 Acura financed through them. After I got my car, I looked up info on the company and say all the complaints and reviews so I knew what kind of people I was stuck with. Made sure my payments were on time so I never had to deal with them. My car was STOLEN on Sept. 5th! The september payment was made, on time. I called the insurance company, signed the release for them to deal with CPS directly and settle the claim. I got a report from my insurance company saying the car was a total loss and their appraisal, etc. CPS began calling me, HARRASSING me, demanding payment of 780(2 payments) stating that I was past due and now owed 2 payments. The Sept payment was made, the car was stolen, no payment was due until October 1st!! The insurance company said they spoke to CPS and settled with them. Why are they demanding almost $800 from me on Oct 15!!!

And, the very nasty woman on the phone, who I have no reason to avoid, I was speaking to and my cell phone battery died, called back leaving a voice mail that I shouldnt hang up the phone, i need to pay her and shes going to keep calling me- Well, jackass, the battery died!!!! Also, she stated that the payoff was $17,000, it is not!!!! It is just under $13,000.

Cant wait to get rid of this company and warn everyone not to deal with them. It seems to be their policy to be nasty and harrassing until people just give in and pay.

They are insane....

AUTHOR: sicofem - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 01, 2011

This company is insane or something. I sent the full amount of my payoff amount by overnight delivery and they have not credited my account. I have had so many issues in the past, it terrified me to pay them. Now I am scared they stole my money and will try to get more money. They still are charging me interest on this account, yet have all my money. The csr is acting like she don't what is going on. Luckily it is a cashiers check. I am tired of these people preying on us. Beware and be careful dealing with them. I hope I will not have to take legal action.
