Hello Im writing to report the abuse I recieved from consumer portfolio. I was sent to them from fireside because they went outta business. I was a year early on my loan agreement and they treated me as if I was a low life not paying my bills. they would call me 12 times a day and harrass me. I would try to talk civilly to them and they would threaten to repo my vehicle and still sue me. If they couldnt reach my home phone they would call my work continually knowing I couldnt recieve calls. dont ask me how they got my work number cause I never gave it to them. It was the worst I have ever delt with!!!!! I have payed off my loan and it now has been almost a month and still havent recieved my tittle. I get the run around when I call to see where my tittle is. they are the Rudest company and should be put out of business......

Public Forum Pal

Its a public forum...if you don't like it, GO ELSEWHERE!

"Hard times" seem to be a way of life for DEADBEATS.  They need to use a subprime loan company because THEY brought their DEADBEAT reputation to the deal.  Now that they are into the new deal, guess what?  Just like clockwork and fully living up to their established reputation, they CONTINUE to not pay their bills!  Some people NEVER learn.  They continue doing the same destructive crap which landed them in the problem in the first place.  Same series of stupid mistakes, stupid life styles, stupid patterns...over and over and over and over again.  Talk about sorry people!

The ONLY "constructive" thing to say about a sorry, subprime welfare type is when they decide to live responsibly and stop blaming everybody and everything for their SORRY lifestyle!

LOL Jim!

Jim I love the way you always leap to the defense of these bottom feeders who prey upon people in need.  Do me a favor just let us all know how we too can get paid by CPS for posting personal attacks and half truths and I'm sure CPS will be out of business within 12 months lol.

Yes people are sub prime but that doesn't mean they are automatically deadbeats, it just means that they have fallen on hard times.  Again I agree CPS tries to help *coughs* by allowing them to get a car, but it doesn't mean phoning friends and family disclosing the debt or telling their employer that they are in default.

Both of these tactics are illegal!!!

Also it means instead of being abusive to them on the phone if your staff really try to work things out and set a realistic payment plan then CPS are more likely to actually get their money.  Have you never heard the phrase "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" ;)

So sir please do us all a favor and if you can't be supportive or constructive in your rebuttals then don't post.

Yes...They Are So, So Cruel!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, March 12, 2012

Here's what you object to...you pay late or don't pay at all. They call and call with the threat of a repo hanging over your head. They were so wonderful when they agreed to finance you when you brought your reputation of not paying your bills to them. Now that you are continuing to live up to your reputation by not paying them on time, oh they are now so nasty, so mean and so illegal. What you sorry subprime mentality, welfare types object to is them not looking the other way when you fail to live up to your end of the contract. You want your car but you don't want to make your payments. Oh poor babies. CPS go ahead and increase those late fees for such sorry losers. Get out of them whatever you can and execute the repo. These losers and other similar subprime mentality welfare types aren't worth the effort. Some people remain welfare types forever. Move onto better ground!
